Problem :
The main problem we are addressing is the barrier to entry and user dissatisfaction in current investment applications. A McKinsey survey revealed that 56% of dissatisfied users feel uncomfortable due to UX/UI issues, such as inadequate information architecture and confusing user journeys. This is compounded by financial complexity and specialized jargon that alienate users without financial backgrounds , creating a significant adoption barrier for the 65.8% of non-users of these platforms.
Solution :
WealthSync offers a solution focused on a modern and intuitive design to simplify investment tracking and trading. Our proposal is materialized in a main screen that provides a clear and comprehensive overview of the user's investment portfolio, allowing them to quickly assess their financial position. From this same screen, we will implement an accessible "Trade" function next to each asset, which will open a modal to quickly buy or sell, enabling the user to act on market opportunities without navigating through complex menus.
Challenge :
Our fundamental challenge as a design team is threefold. First, we must build trust, which remains a fundamental challenge given the delicate nature of personal finances. Second, we have to strike a complex balance between simplicity and appropriate safeguards, as an interface that is "too easy" can give the impression that the platform is not secure. Finally, the biggest UX challenge is to communicate complex financial products and concepts in a human and simple way , eliminating the jargon that has traditionally alienated users without a financial background.
